On or about Wednesday, March 15th, 2022, around 4:15 in the afternoon, a serious single-vehicle motorcycle accident left one individual dead. Law enforcement spokespeople said the accident was reported along Loop 322 not far from the exchange with Treadaway in Abilene, Texas.
Officers from the Abilene Police Department said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was killed when the motorcycle they were on crashed under unspecified circumstances while driving down Loop 322. Paramedics pronounced the driver of the motorcycle dead of their injuries a short time after the accident. Police did not mention any other vehicles or injuries in their initial statement on the accident.
According to Google Maps, the exchange of Loop 322 and Treadaway is on the south side of Abilene.
Police are still investigating the accident.
