On or about Tuesday, February 8th, 2022, around 8:33 in the afternoon, a single-vehicle motorcycle accident left one individual dead. Authorities from the Travis County Sheriff’s Department said the accident was reported in the 9600 block of Research Boulevard in Austin, Texas.
Spokespeople from the Austin Police Department said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was killed when the motorcycle they were on crashed under unspecified conditions. Emergency responders pronounced the motorcyclist dead of their injuries a short time after the accident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is on the northwest side of Austin.
