On or about Monday, January 17th, 2022, around 2:30 in the morning, a serious accident between a motorcycle and a crash attenuator truck left one individual dead. Deputies from the Bexar County Sheriff’s Department said the accident was reported along Southwest Loop 410 near the exchange with Old Pearsall Road in San Antonio, Texas.
Investigators said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was killed when the motorcycle they were on allegedly struck a crash attenuator truck along Loop 410. Emergency responders pronounced the driver of the motorcycle dead of their injuries a short time after they responded to the scene of the crash. The driver of the crash attenuator truck was unhurt in the collision.
Officials have said they believe alcohol may have been a factor in the incident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the crash is situated on the southwest side of San Antonio.
Police are still investigating the accident.
