One person was killed and one injured when a garbage truck and passenger car collided head-on at the intersection of Florissant and Geraldine Avenues in the Mark Twain neighborhood of St. Louis, MO. St. Louis Metro Police reported the first call came in around 10:20 a.m. on Thursday, February 13, 2025. The car reportedly overcorrected after crossing the center line prior to the collision, which is currently under investigation.
