On or about Tuesday, June 21st, 2022, around 5:00 in the afternoon, an accident between a passenger vehicle and a tractor-trailer left one person dead. Troopers from the NMSP said the accident was reported along Highway 371 in San Juan County, New Mexico.
Authorities from the New Mexico State Police said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was killed when the vehicle they were in and a propane truck collided under unspecified circumstances along Highway 371. Emergency responders pronounced one person dead a short time after the collision. Police did not mention any other vehicles in their statement on the accident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is not far from mile marker 90.5.
