Details:
On or about Tuesday, January 19th, 2021, an accident between a school bus and a pedestrian left one individual dead. Deputies from the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office said the accident happened along Main Street in Buffalo, Wyoming.
Authorities said one as-of-yet unidentified person was killed when they were allegedly struck a pedestrian as they were walking near or trying to cross Main Street. Paramedics rushed the pedestrian to a nearby hospital where they succumbed to their injuries. Police did not mention any other injuries in their preliminary statement.
According to Google Maps, Main Street is two lanes, with a shared turn lane dividing north and southbound traffic. Buffalo is about 112 miles north of Casper.
Multiple agencies are examining the incident.
