On or about Wednesday, February 2nd, 2022, around 5:00 in the morning, an accident between a tanker truck and a passenger vehicle left one individual dead. Deputies from the Dallas County Sheriff’s Office said the accident was reported along the northbound lanes of North Central Expressway in Richardson, Texas.
Law enforcement representatives said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was killed when a tanker truck allegedly struck their car when they swerved to avoid two motorcyclists that had fallen in the roadway in a previous collision. Emergency responders pronounced the driver of the passenger vehicle dead of his injuries after the accident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is about 14 miles north of downtown Dallas.
Officials are still investigating the accident.
