On or about Monday, February 1st, 2021, an accident between a minivan and a commercial truck left one person dead and sent three others to the hospital. Law enforcement representatives said the accident happened at the intersection of Andrews and Southwest Loop 1910 in Odessa, Texas.

Officers said a minivan on Andrews allegedly failed to yield at the intersection with Southwest Loop 1910 when it was hit by a commercial truck hauling oilfield equipment. Emergency responders pronounced the driver of the minivan dead at the scene. Two other people in the minivan and the commercial truck driver were taken to the hospital with unspecified injuries.

According to Google Streetview, there is a stop sign at the intersection of Andrews and Southwest Loop 1910.

Texas Department of Public Safety and local police assisted at the scene of the crash.
