Details:
On or about Friday, June 17th, 2022, around 10:00 in the morning, a serious tractor-trailer accident left one woman dead and sent three other people to the hospital. Spokespeople from the FHP said the accident was reported along Interstate 75 in Tampa, Florida.
Authorities from the Florida Highway Patrol said one as-of-yet unidentified woman was killed and three other people were injured when a tractor-trailer allegedly hit another semi-truck on the side of Interstate 75, causing a gas tank to hit a nearby vehicle. One passenger in the vehicle was pronounced dead, while the driver and two children were taken to the hospital with unknown injuries.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is a short distance from Lee Roy Selmon Expressway.
Police are still looking into the collision.
