On or about Tuesday, December 7th, 2021, around 7:00 in the morning, an accident between a tractor-trailer, an 18-wheeler, and a Honda Civic left one person dead and sent three other individuals to the hospital. Deputies from the Sheriff’s Office said the accident was reported along the westbound side of Interstate 90/94 just outside Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin.

Troopers from the Wisconsin State Patrol said one as-of-yet unidentified 61-year-old man was killed, while three other people were injured when a Honda Civic and two tractor-trailers collided under unknown conditions on westbound I-90/94. Emergency responders pronounced a passenger in the Honda Civic dead after the collision, while the driver and a second passenger, as well as one of the tractor-trailer drivers were transported to the hospital with unknown injuries.

According to Google Maps, Interstate 90/94 runs east and west into Wisconsin Dells, which is situated about 54 miles north of Madison.

Authorities are still investigating the collision.
