On or about Tuesday, November 24th, 2020, around 11:00 in the morning, an accident between a car and a parked tractor-trailer left one person dead and sent three others to the hospital. Officials said the accident happened in the 600 block of East Erie Avenue in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Authorities said one as-of-yet unidentified person was killed, while three others were rushed to the hospital when the car they were in allegedly slammed into the back of a parked tractor-trailer. Four people were transported from the scene to area hospitals where one of them succumbed to their injuries a short time after their arrival.

Looking at East Erie Avenue on Google Streetview shows a two lane thoroughfare, with a train line running through the median dividing east and westbound traffic. The area is situated in the northern part of the Philadelphia area.

Officials are still investigating the cause of the crash.
