Details:
On or about Thursday, January 20th, 2022, around 8:15 at night, an accident between an SUV and a pickup truck towing a left one woman dead. Authorities said the accident was reported at the intersection of Preston Highway and Cooper Chapel in Louisville, Kentucky.
Investigators said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was killed when the SUV she was driving was allegedly struck by a pickup truck towing a trailer that turned into her path at the intersection of Preston Highway and Cooper Chapel. Emergency responders pronounced the woman dead of her injuries a short time after the collision. The driver of the truck towing a trailer and two people in the SUV were treated of various injuries.
According to Google Maps, the intersection of Preston Highway and Cooper Chapel is on the south side of Louisville.
Investigators are still working to determine the cause of the accident.
