On or about Thursday, March 10th, 2022, sometime in the hours before noon, a serious accident between a tour bus and a pickup truck left one individual dead. Troopers from the TSP said the accident was reported along Highway 43 not far from the intersection with Brace Road in Lawrence County, Tennessee.
Authorities from the Tennessee State Police said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was killed when a pickup truck and a tour bus collided under unspecified circumstances on Highway 43. Paramedics pronounced one individual dead of their injuries after the accident. Police did not specify which vehicle the victim was in at the time of the accident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is about 86 miles southwest of downtown Nashville.
Officials are still investigating the accident.
