On or about Friday, January 28th, 2022, around 11:50 at night, an accident between a pedestrian and a tow truck left a 76-year-old man dead. Deputies from the Harris County Sheriff’s Office said the accident was reported along Cullen Boulevard in Houston, Texas.
Officers from the Houston Police Department said an as-of-yet unidentified 76-year-old man was killed when he was allegedly struck by a tow truck as he was walking near or made an attempt to cross Cullen Boulevard. Paramedics rushed the victim to a nearby hospital where he succumbed to his injuries a short time after his arrival.
According to Google Maps, Cullen Boulevard runs north and south through the south side of Houston.
Authorities are still investigating.
