On or about Tuesday, February 1st, 2022, a serious accident between a motorcycle and a tow truck left one individual dead. Law enforcement spokespeople from the FHP said the accident was reported along Highway 1 at 99th Street in Sebastian, Florida.
Representatives from the Florida Highway Patrol said an as-of-yet unidentified individual was killed when a tow truck allegedly attempted a turn at Highway 1 and 99th Street when it struck a motorcycle. Paramedics pronounced the motorcyclist dead of their injuries a short time after the collision. Officials did not mention any other injuries.
According to Google Maps, Sebastian is about 91 miles southeast of Orlando.
State and local authorities assisted after the accident.
