Details:
On or about Monday, June 20th, 2022, around 2:45 in the morning, an accident between a passenger vehicle and a tow truck left one person dead. Troopers from the MSP said the accident was reported along the Lodge Freeway in Detroit, Michigan.
Representatives from the Michigan State Police said one as-of-yet unidentified person was killed when the vehicle she was riding in allegedly crashed into a tow truck that was in the lanes of traffic on the Lodge Freeway. Emergency responders pronounced a passenger in the car dead of her injuries a short time after the accident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is not far from the exchange with Interstate 75.
Police are still looking into the cause of the accident.
