Details:
On or about Wednesday, March 17th, 2021, around 8:15 at night, an accident between a pedestrian and a tow truck left one individual dead. Deputies from the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office said the accident happened along Olive Avenue near the intersection with 91st Street in Peoria, Arizona.
Troopers from the ASP said one as-of-yet unidentified person was killed when they were allegedly struck and run over by a tow truck that was pulling a bus. Officials said the victim may have been between the tow truck and the bus when the truck drove away from the intersection. Paramedics pronounced the pedestrian dead of his injuries at the scene of the accident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is about 13 miles northwest of downtown Phoenix.
Police are still investigating.
