Details:
On or about Wednesday, February 2nd, 2022, around 9:55 at night, a single-vehicle tractor-trailer accident left one individual dead. Deputies from the DPD said the accident was reported along the southbound side of Interstate 45 at the exchange with Interstate 30 in Dallas, Texas.
Representatives from the Dallas Police Department said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was killed when the tractor-trailer they were driving crashed under unspecified circumstances on I-45. Police said the driver of the tractor-trailer was ejected from the vehicle in the accident and was thrown down onto Interstate 30 from the overpass. Emergency responders pronounced the driver of the tractor-trailer dead of his injuries at the scene of the accident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is about a mile northeast of downtown Dallas.
Police are still investigating the accident.
