Details:
On or about Friday, October 1st, 2021, around 3:00 in the afternoon, an accident between a tractor-trailer and a car left one individual dead. Troopers from the Department of Public Safety said the accident was reported along State Highway 105 just outside Cleveland in Montgomery County, Texas.
Authorities from the area said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was killed when the vehicle they were driving allegedly swerved in wet road and skidded into the path of a tractor-trailer. Emergency responders pronounced the driver of the car dead a short time after the crash. Officials did not mention any other injuries stemming from the accident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is a short distance from the Cleveland city limits, which is about 45 miles north of downtown Houston.
Police are still investigating the accident.
