Details:
On or about Wednesday, July 14th, 2021, an accident between a car and a tractor-trailer claimed the life of a 30-year-old man from Fountain Valley. Troopers from the CHP said the accident was reported along the Orange Freeway (57 Freeway) near the exchange with Ball Road in Anaheim, California.
Deputies from the Orange County Sheriff’s Office said an as-of-yet unidentified 30-year-old man was killed when his car allegedly struck the back of a tractor-trailer that was entering the 57-Freeway from Ball Road. After the initial collision, the car became pinned against the tractor-trailer. Emergency responders pronounced the driver of the car dead at the scene of the accident.
According to Google Maps, the Orange Freeway runs north and south through the center of Anaheim, which is 26 miles southeast of downtown Los Angeles.
Officials are still investigating the incident.
