On or about Tuesday, March 15th, 2022, around 9:31 in the morning, a major accident between a tractor-trailer and a motorcycle left one individual dead. Troopers from the CHP said the accident was reported along the 710 Freeway in Long Beach, California.
Officials from the California Highway Patrol said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was killed when the motorcycle they were on and a tractor-trailer collided under unknown conditions while driving along the 710 Freeway. Paramedics pronounced the motorcyclist dead of his injuries a short time after the accident. Police did not mention any other vehicles in their statement on the accident.
According to Google Maps, the 710 Freeway cuts north and south through Long Beach.
