Details:
On or about Wednesday, January 20th, 2021, around 8:50 in the morning, an accident between a tractor-trailer and a pedestrian left a 23-year-old Gunter woman dead. Troopers from the DPS said the accident happened along the northbound side of Highway 75 in Sherman, Texas.
Texas Department of Public Safety Troopers said one as-of-yet unidentified 23-year-old woman was killed when a tractor-trailer allegedly veered off northbound Highway 75, crossed the frontage road, and struck three cars and the victim. Paramedics rushed the woman to a nearby hospital where she died of her injuries a short time after her arrival.
Google Maps shows Highway 75 cuts north and south through the center of Sherman, which is located about 64 miles north of Dallas.
Multiple agencies are currently investigating the accident.
