On or about Wednesday, September 8th, 2021, around 8:30 at night an accident between a construction worker and a tractor-trailer left one man dead. Officials from the Anoka County Sheriff’s Office said the accident was reported at a construction site near the intersection of Armstrong Boulevard Northwest and Bunker Lake Boulevard Northwest in Ramsey, Minnesota.
Authorities said one as-of-yet unidentified construction worker was killed when a tractor-trailer allegedly backed over them while they were on foot in the construction site. Emergency responders pronounced the construction worker dead of his injuries at the scene of the accident. Police did not mention any other injuries stemming from the accident.
According to Google Maps, Ramsey is situated about 28 miles northeast of downtown Minneapolis.
State and local law enforcement agencies assisted at the scene of the incident.
