Details:
On or about Monday, February 14th, 2022, around 2:20 in the morning, an accident between a tractor-trailer and a passenger vehicle left one person dead. Deputies from the Harris County Sheriff’s Office said the accident was reported along Highway 290 in Houston, Texas.
Officers from the Houston Police Department said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was killed when the car they were in allegedly struck a USPS tractor-trailer head-on while driving against the flow of traffic on Beltway 8 near the exchange with Highway 290. Paramedics pronounced the driver of the vehicle dead at the scene of the accident.
Authorities are still trying to pin down all the factors that may have contributed to the accident.
