On or about Tuesday, June 28th, 2022, around 8:00 in the morning, a serious accident between a tractor-trailer and a motorcycle left a 33-year-old man dead. Law enforcement representatives from the area said the accident was reported at or near the intersection of Busse Road and Touhy Avenue in Elk Grove Village, Illinois.
Authorities from the Illinois State Police said one as-of-yet unidentified 33-year-old man was killed when the motorcycle he was on and a tractor-trailer collided under unspecified circumstances near Busse and Touhy. Emergency responders pronounced the driver of the motorcycle dead of his injuries after the accident, but it is not clear if he died at the scene, or if he was rushed to a nearby hospital where he succumbed to his injuries a short time after his arrival.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is in Cook County.
Police are still investigating the crash.
