On or about Tuesday, May 24th, 2022, around 6:29 at night, a single-vehicle tractor-trailer accident left one person dead. Troopers from the Department of Public Safety said the accident was reported along the Clovis Highway in Lubbock County, Texas.
Spokespeople from the Texas DPS said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was killed when the tractor-trailer they were in allegedly drove off the side of Clovis Higwhay and crashed. Emergency responders pronounced the driver of the tractor-trailer dead of their injuries a short time after they responded to the scene of the crash.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is not far from Anton.
Police are still investigating the accident.
