On or about Wednesday, August 18th, 2021, around 4:00 in the afternoon, an accident between a tractor-trailer and a pickup truck left one individual dead. Officials from the ALEA said the accident was reported along Crescent Ridge Road northeast in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.
Police from the area said one as-of-yet unidentified person was killed when the Chevrolet S10 they were in collided with a tractor-trailer under unspecified circumstances while driving down Crescent Ridge Road Northeast. Emergency responders pronounced the driver of the pickup truck dead of his injuries a short time after the incident. No other injuries were reported.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is a short distance north of Tuscaloosa.
Police are still examining the circumstances that led to the collision.
