On or about Thursday, January 13th, 2022, around 7:12 in the morning, a serious accident between a motorcycle, a bus, and a semi truck left one individual dead. Authorities from the NYPD said the accident was reported along the Cross Bronx Expressway near the exchange with the Sheridan Expressway in the Bronx, New York.
New York Police Department spokespeople said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was killed when the motorcycle they were on allegedly collided with a parked semi truck and a nearby MTA bus. Paramedics pronounced the motorcyclist dead of his injuries a short time after they responded to the scene of the accident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is in the West Farms neighborhood.
Police are still working to pin down the cause of the accident.
