On or about Friday, February 11th, 2022, around 7:00 in the morning, a three vehicle accident with a tractor-trailer left one individual dead. Authorities from the Department of Public Safety said the accident was reported along Highway 90 near the exchange with Grand Parkway just outside Dayton in Liberty County, Texas.
Police from the area said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was killed when a pickup truck and a tractor-trailer allegedly slammed into a disabled vehicle in the roadway. Emergency responders pronounced the driver of the disabled vehicle dead of his injuries a short time after the collision.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is a short distance from Dayton, which is roughly 37 miles northeast of downtown Houston.
