On or about Saturday, June 12th, 2021, around 11:15 in the morning, an accident between a tractor-trailer and a car left one man dead. Officials said the accident was reported along Droubay Street near the intersection with Arrow Street in Tooele, Utah.
Officials from the Utah State Police said one as-of-yet unidentified person was killed when their car allegedly slammed into a parked tractor-trailer while driving down Droubay Street near Arrow Street. Emergency responders pronounced the victim dead at the scene of the accident after they arrived. Police did not mention any other injuries or vehicles in their initial statement on the crash.
According to Google Maps, the intersection of Arrow Street and Droubay Street is on the northeast side of Tooele, which is about 34 miles west of downtown Salt Lake City.
Police hope to release the findings of their investigation at a later date.
