Details:
On or about Saturday, February 26th, 2022, sometime in the early morning hours, an accident between a box truck and a tractor-trailer left one individual dead. Spokespeople from the FHP said the accident was reported along the Florida Turnpike in Miami, Florida.
Investigators said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was killed when the tractor-trailer they were driving allegedly slammed into the back of a disabled box truck along the Florida Turnpike. Emergency responders pronounced the driver of the tractor-trailer dead of his injuries a short time after they arrived at the scene of the accident. Authorities did not mention any other injuries stemming from the accident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is near the exchange with Northwest 41st Street.
Police are still investigating the accident.
