On or about March 2nd, 2022, around 2:30 in the morning, a major accident between a passenger vehicle and a tractor-trailer left a 32-year-old Louisiana resident dead. Officials from the DPS said the accident was reported along Farm-to-Market Road 156 just outside Haslet, Texas.
Police officers from the area said an as-of-yet unidentified 32-year-old man from Louisiana was killed when the vehicle they were in and a tractor-trailer collided under unknown conditions on FM 156. Paramedics pronounced the 32-year-old man dead a short time after they arrived at the scene of the collision. Officials did not mention any other inquires in their initial statement on the accident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is a short distance from Haslet, which is about 40 miles northwest of downtown Dallas.
