On or about Wednesday, May 18th, 2022, around 2:00 in the morning, an accident between two tractor-trailers left one person dead. Officials from the Department of Public Safety said the accident was reported along Farm-to-Market Road 1660 in Taylor, Texas.
Authorities from the area said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was killed when two tractor-trailers collided under unspecified circumstances while driving down FM 1660. Emergency responders pronounced one of the truck drivers dead of their injuries a short time after they responded to the scene of the collision.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is not far from the exchange with Farm-to-Market Road 973.
Officials are still investigating the accident.
