On or about Wednesday, November 17th, 2021, around 5:15 in the morning, a major accident with between an SUV and a tractor-trailer left one individual dead. Officials from the Department of Public Safety said the accident was reported along the southbound side of Highway 16 in Bexar County, Texas.
Law enforcement officials said one as-of-yet unidentified person was killed when the SUV they were driving allegedly collided with the rear of a tractor-trailer that had just pulled into their path along Highway 16. Emergency responders pronounced the driver of the SUV dead of their injuries at the scene of the accident. Officials did not mention any other vehicles in their initial statement
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is situated on the south side of Bexar County.
