Details:
On or about Thursday, May 29th, 2022, around 11:00 in the morning, an accident between a tractor-trailer and a pedestrian left one individual dead. Troopers from the CHP said the accident was reported along Highway 180 in Fresno, California.
Spokespeople from the California Highway Patrol said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was killed when they were allegedly hit by a tractor-trailer as they were walking alongside or made an attempt to cross Highway 180. Emergency responders rushed the victim to a nearby hospital where they died a short time after their arrival.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is not far from Blackstone Avenue.
Police are still looking into the cause of the accident.
