On or about Monday, August 16th, 2021, around 9:50 in the morning, an accident between a tractor-trailer and a pickup truck claimed the life of one man. Troopers from the FHP said the accident occurred at the intersection of Northwest Highway 225 and County Road 326 in Ocala, Florida.
Police said one as-of-yet unidentified man was killed when his pickup truck was allegedly struck by a tractor-trailer at the intersection of Northwest Highway 225 and County Road 326 as the tractor-trailer was driving northbound on Northwest Highway 225. Emergency responders pronounced the driver of the pickup truck dead of his injuries when they arrived at the scene. The driver of the tractor-trailer was unhurt in the crash.
According to Google Maps, the intersection of Northwest Highway 225 and County Road 326 is on the far northwest side of Ocala, which is about 79 miles northwest of Orlando.
