Details:
On or about Monday, April 18th, 2022, sometime in the morning hours, a serious tractor-trailer accident left an 80-year-old woman dead. Troopers from the NDHP said the accident was reported along Highway 23 in New Town, North Dakota.
Police officers said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was killed when the vehicle she was in was allegedly struck by a tractor-trailer while turning along Highway 23. Emergency responders pronounced the woman in the car dead of her injuries a short time after the accident.
According to Google Maps, Highway 23 cuts east and west through New Town.
Police are still investigating the crash.
