On or about Tuesday, September 7th, 2021, an accident between a pickup truck and a tractor-trailer left one individual dead. Officials from the Department of Public Safety said the accident was reported along the northbound side of Highway 59 just outside Beeville in Bee County, Texas.
Authorities from the Texas DPS said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was killed when a tractor-trailer and a pickup truck collided under unspecified circumstances. Pictures from the scene show the tractor-trailer rolled to one side, blocking the entire northbound lane. Paramedics pronounced one individual dead of their injuries after the crash, but police did not specify which vehicle the victim was in at the time of the accident.
According to Google Maps, Highway 59 runs north and south through Bee County, which is about 108 miles south of San Antonio.
Police are still investigating.
