On or about Wednesday, January 13th, 2021, around 2:00 in the afternoon, an accident between a tractor-trailer and a pedestrian left one individual dead. Deputies from the Harris County Sheriff’s Office said the accident happened along Highway 6 near Memorial Drive in Houston, Texas.
Police said one as-of-yet unidentified individual died after being struck by an 18-wheeler under unspecified conditions. Officers did not specify if the victim died at the scene or after being taken to the hospital. No other injuries were mentioned in the initial police statement.
