Details:
On or about Thursday, June 16th, 2022, around 11:10 at night, an accident between a pedestrian and a passenger vehicle left one person dead. Troopers from the Department of Public Safety said the accident was reported along Highway 62/82 in Wolfforth, Texas.
Authorities from the Texas DPS said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was killed when they were allegedly hit by a tractor-trailer while they were walking alongside or tried to cross the lanes of Highway 62/82. Emergency responders pronounced the pedestrian dead of their injuries a short time after the accident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is not far from the exchange with Dowden Road.
Police are still investigating.
