On or about Monday, November 8th, 2021, around 12:30 in the afternoon, an accident between a passenger vehicle and a tractor-trailer left a 26-year-old woman dead. Troopers from the OHP said the accident was reported along Highway 70 just outside Durant in Bryan County, Oklahoma.

Officials from the Oklahoma Highway Patrol said one as-of-yet unidentified 26-year-old woman was killed when the car they were in allegedly crossed over the center line of Highway 70 and struck a tractor-trailer head-on. Paramedics pronounced the woman in the car dead of her injuries when they arrived at the scene of the collision.

According to Google Maps, the scene of the crash is a short distance from the Durant town line, which is about 149 miles south of Oklahoma City.

State and local authorities responded to the scene.
