Details:
On or about Monday, February 22nd, 2021, around 9:00 at night, an accident between a tractor-trailer and a pedestrian left a 36-year-old woman dead. State Police said the accident happened on the westbound side of Highway 84 in Offerman, Georgia.
Georgia State Patrol said an as-of-yet unidentified 36-year-old woman was killed when she was allegedly struck by a westbound tractor-trailer. Paramedics pronounced the woman dead of her injuries after they responded to the scene. The driver of the tractor-trailer was uninjured.
According to Google Maps, Offerman is about 86 miles southwest of Savannah.
Police are still investigating the cause of the accident.
