Details:
On or about Sunday, March 14th, 2021, an accident between a tractor-trailer and a car left one individual dead. Deputies from the Nye County Sheriff’s Office said the accident happened along U.S. Highway 95 just outside Beatty, Nevada.
Troopers from the Nevada State Police said one-as-of-yet unidentified person was killed when a tractor-trailer and a car collided when one of them may have been driving the wrong direction on the roadway. Police did not specify which vehicle may have been driving against traffic at the time of the collision. At least one person died of their injuries at the scene of the accident.
According to Google Maps, U.S. Highway 95 cuts north and south through the center of Beatty, which is about 117 miles northwest of Las Vegas.
Officials hope to release more information in the coming days.
