On or about Sunday, November 14th, 2021, around 7:00 in the evening, an accident between a car and a tractor-trailer claimed the life of a 22-year-old Moscow man. Troopers from the ISP said the accident was reported along Highway 95 just outside New Meadows in Adams County, Idaho.
Law enforcement representatives said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was killed when the car they were driving allegedly drove over the center line of Highway 95 and struck a tractor-trailer in the oncoming lanes of the roadway. Paramedics pronounced the driver of the car dead of his injuries a short time after the collision. Police did not mention any other injuries in their statement on the accident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is a short distance north of New Meadows, which is about 118 miles north of Boise.
Police are still examining the cause of the accident.
