On or about Wednesday, February 24th, 2021, around 3:00 in the afternoon, an accident between a pickup truck and a tractor-trailer left one person dead. Troopers from the State Police said the accident happened along Highway 95 in Scandia, Minnesota.
Deputies from the Washington County Sheriff’s Department said one as-of-yet unidentified person was killed when a pickup truck and a tractor-trailer collided under unspecified circumstances. Emergency responders pronounced one individual dead a short time after they arrived at the scene of the accident.
According to Google Maps, Scandia is about 38 miles northeast of downtown Minneapolis.
