Details:
On or about Friday, November 12th, 2021, around 6:00 in the evening, a single-vehicle tractor-trailer accident sent one individual to the hospital. Troopers from the WSP said the accident was reported along Highway 97 just outside Orondo in Douglas County, Washington.
Investigators said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was injured when the tractor-trailer they were driving allegedly drove off the side of Highway 97 and crashed down an embankment. Paramedics cut the truck driver from the wreckage and rushed him to the hospital with unspecified injuries stemming from the accident, from there he was airlifted to a Seattle hospital for treatment.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is a Orondo, which is about 158 miles east of downtown Seattle.
