Details:
On or about Wednesday, June 8th, 2022, sometime in the early morning hours, an accident between a tractor-trailer and a pedestrian left one individual dead. Representatives from the CHP said the accident was reported along Highway 99 in Madera County, California.
Officials from the California Highway Patrol said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was killed when they were allegedly hit by a tractor-trailer as they were walking near or made an attempt to cross Highway 99. Emergency responders pronounced the pedestrian dead of their injuries a short time after the incident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is a short distance from Highway 152.
Police are still investigating the accident.
