On or about Sunday, August 1st, 2021, around 1:30 in the afternoon, an accident between a pedestrian and a tractor-trailer claimed the life of a 55-year-old man. Spokespeople from the WSP said the accident was reported in the 1500 block of House Avenue in Cheyenne, Wyoming.
Investigators said a 55-year-old man was killed when he was allegedly run over by a tractor-trailer while he may have been laying or sleeping under the truck. Paramedics pronounced the pedestrian dead of his injuries a short time after they responded to the scene of the accident. Officials indicated the tractor-trailer may have left the scene of the accident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is situated a short distance south of the center of Cheyenne.
Police are still investigating the accident.
