On or about Friday, April 8th, 2022, around 11:00 in the morning, an accident between a tractor-trailer and a motorcycle left one individual dead. Troopers from the CHP said the accident was reported at the intersection of Hueneme Road and Arcturus Avenue in Oxnard, California.
Representatives from the California Highway Patrol said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was killed when a tractor-trailer allegedly struck a person on a motorcycle while the truck was turning at Hueneme Road and Arcturus Avenue. Emergency responders pronounced the driver of the motorcycle dad of their injuries at the scene of the accident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is about 61 miles northwest of downtown Los Angeles.
Police are still examining the factors that may have contributed to the accident.
