On or about Saturday, March 6th, 2021, an accident between a tractor-trailer and a car claimed the life of a 58-year-old man. Police said the accident was reported along Industry Drive in Grants Pass, Oregon.
Deputies from the Josephine County Sheriff’s Department said one as-of-yet unidentified 58-year-old man was killed when his car allegedly struck the back of a parked tractor-trailer. Officials said the car became wedged beneath the trailer of the 18-wheeler. Paramedics pronounced one person in the car dead at the scene of the crash.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is on the east side of Grants Pass.
Officers are still examining the factors that may have contributed to the crash.
